The Bark is a quarterly print and digital magazine produced exclusively for members of The Arbutus Club. As a key piece of the Club’s internal communications, the publication offers timely updates on Club initiatives, family programming, seasonal events, member achievements, and community engagement. Designed to foster connection and engagement across generations, The Bark reflects the vibrant spirit of the Club and its commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and dynamic environment for all members.

Arbutus Club 60th Anniversary – Limited Edition Apparel & Archival Feature

To commemorate the Arbutus Club’s 60th anniversary, a limited edition apparel line was designed and sold exclusively through The Shoppe for Club members. The design team also collaborated on the styling and art direction for a celebratory photoshoot promoting the collection. In tandem, a special edition of The Bark was produced, focusing entirely on the Club’s history using the Club’s archives.

Archival research included old newsletters, event posters, and photo collections from the Club’s past, with select references from the City of Vancouver Archives for added context. The result was a visual and editorial tribute to the Arbutus Club’s evolution over the decades.
